Corporate culture refers to the values, principles, and ways of interaction within and outside the organization. Corporate leaders should understand that the corporate culture is training and indoctrinating everyone, including those external stakeholders. Lawsuits or criminal prosecutions against aggressive officers would not be the best way of dealing with police brutality, whether at work or not (Dresden et al., 2018). While this strategy may make the public believe that injustices are being addressed, these strategies do not produce lasting reform. Because police are immune from punishment for "reasonable" conduct, jury bias in favor of police makes suits challenging to emerge with court victory. Sometimes, when lawsuits are resolved after many years, police officers are indemnified by states. Moreover, evidence of such suits may not become part of officers' personnel files and sometimes does not prevent the promotion of these officers (Van & Fine, 2018).
